Flashscore brings together results, statistics, and news to follow your favorite sports.
ad
There are thousands of competitions organized in a single app.
But does it offer more than simple scores and results?
Discover how Flashscore works, which features are available, and whether it is worth installing.
Understand How the App Works
The app makes real time sports tracking easier by bringing together results, statistics, and news.
The app is available for Android and iOS, as well as a browser version.
You can find different sports, championships, and matches in one place, and save favorite teams and games.
You can also choose your main sport and organize the order of the sports in the menu.
Do you have to pay?
The app is free for following results and sports information.
Depending on the system, there may be an option to remove advertisements.
Live Results to Follow Every Play
This is probably the best known feature: following matches while they are happening.
The results are updated in real time, even when you are not watching the broadcast.
In soccer, for example, you can receive information about goals, cards, substitutions, and periods of the match.
And you don’t have to stick to soccer!
In practice, the app works like a personalized sports dashboard.
And if you are busy, notifications help you avoid missing a goal just after you put your phone down.
Statistics, Lineups, and Match Information
If you think the platform is only useful for finding out the score, get ready for a little surprise.
When you open a match, you can find a considerable amount of information.
The available information may change depending on the sport and the competition being followed.
The app also presents individual statistics.
These include xG, xA, shots, chances created, tackles, and saves, when applicable.
Player ratings
Another interesting feature is the player ratings.
Flashscore calculates the ratings using match statistics and different performance metrics.
And the famous xG?
In soccer, xG or Expected Goals estimates the probability of a shot resulting in a goal.
This is especially interesting for those who like to analyze a match beyond the score.
More than 30 Sports in a Single App
One of Flashscore’s biggest advantages is precisely the variety of sports.
Among the main sports followed are:
| Sport | Examples of competitions |
|---|---|
| Soccer | Brasileirão, Libertadores, and Champions League |
| Tennis | ATP, WTA, and Grand Slams |
| Basketball | NBA, NBB, and EuroLeague |
| Volleyball | Superliga and Nations League |
| Motorsports | Formula 1 and MotoGP |
| Rugby | International and national competitions |
| Hockey | NHL and international championships |
| Baseball | MLB and international competitions |
| MMA | UFC and other martial arts events |
In addition to these sports, the app follows golf, futsal, and other options.
The platform also brings together more than 6,000 competitions.
Favorites and Notifications so You don’t Miss your Games
You know that game you want to follow, but you know you will probably forget about it when the time comes?
That’s exactly what favorites and notifications are for, making this tracking much more convenient.
To favorite a team or match, simply tap the star icon available on the screen.
After that, this content is gathered in its own area, making it easier to access your main interests.
You can receive alerts about different events, depending on the sport and competition being followed.
| Notification | When it can help |
|---|---|
| Match start | To remember that the game has started |
| Lineup | To check the starters |
| Goal | To immediately know the result |
| Card | To follow important events |
| Result | To find out the final score |
The app also allows you to follow favorite players and receive alerts.
Sports News to Stay Up to Date on Everything
Flashscore News brings together news, analysis, interviews, and opinions about different sports events.
The platform also brings together content from other websites, offering different sources and perspectives.
Top News notifications highlight transfers, titles, and major events, as well as videos and previews.
Is there live audio?
Flashscore offers live audio commentary for some matches, especially from major competitions.
You can listen to the content while using other apps, but the feature is not available for all games.
Availability depends on the match and competition, so it is worth checking the details before the game.
Features that Make Flashscore even More Complete
In addition to the main features, Flashscore has some tools that deserve attention.
Live standings
In soccer, the live table shows how a result can change the standings during the match.
This way, you can quickly understand the impact of a goal on the competition.
Head to head records
The app also allows you to check the history of head to head matches between teams.
This helps those who like to compare previous performance before a match.
Synchronization
Those who use the service on different devices can sync favorite teams and players.
This makes things much easier for those who follow matches on their phone and computer.
And does it broadcast the games?
Here is an important difference: Flashscore does not broadcast matches directly.
It follows the events, but it does not replace a sports streaming platform.
Is Flashscore Worth it? Our App Review
After getting to know the features, it is easy to understand why Flashscore is so popular among sports fans.
The app brings together scores, statistics, news, and notifications in one place, without complicating the experience.
With more than 30 sports and thousands of competitions, it goes far beyond those who only follow soccer. So, is it worth it?
If you like sports, yes.
Flashscore is a great option for following results and analyzing matches in greater depth.
The only detail is that it does not broadcast the games.
Still, for following everything in real time, it is one of the most complete apps in the category.
You can start by using only the live results and, little by little, discover other features.
With favorites and notifications, it becomes much easier to follow your favorite teams and players.
In the end, it can become your go to app for following sports without opening countless tabs.
